Navigating the Old Testament (student binder)

$0.00

This link provides all of the downloadable student materials for Navigating the Old Testament, a LIVE homeschool Bible course for high school students in Junction City, Oregon. If you haven’t registered yet, please sign up here so we know how many chairs we need.

Note: If you don’t have a printer at home or need help printing, please email amber@onestoryfamily.org. We’ll have some extra binders with printouts that your student can have!

Instructions:

  1. Add this resource to your basket. If you have multiple students in your family, note that you only need to add 1 in order to access the material.
  2. Follow the free checkout process. If you want to create an account, this will make it easier if life happens and you need to reprint files later, but that is completely optional.
  3. Download and print all three files for each student. We highly recommend printing the binder files in color. The worksheet files are designed with minimal color, but if you want to save ink, black & white is fine.
  4. Follow the binder assembly directions below.
  5. Bring your Bible Binder to every class!

Assembling Your Bible Binder

To build a Bible Binder, students will need:

*links are provided for visual examples; these items cost less when purchased locally. The JC Bi-Mart has all of these items with the possible exception of page protectors. Dollar Tree has pencil bags.

Instructions:

  1. Write your name on the Bible Binder cover page.
  2. Slide the Bible Binder cover page into the front cover of the binder.
  3. Slide the StoryMap into the back cover of the binder. You will be lost the first class session if you don’t have the StoryMap in your binder.
  4. Put divider pages in page protectors and/or attach stick-on tabs (Note: OneStory teaches the Hebrew order of the Bible, so three of the divider pages have Hebrew names.)
  5. Put the dividers into the binders in the following order:
    – How to Read the Bible
    – Themes
    – Torah (Law/Instruction)
    – Nevi’im (Prophets)
    – Ketuvim (Writings)
    – Gospels + Acts
    – Letters
    – Word Studies
  6. Put your worksheets in the front of the binder, before the first divider.

Note that these are the worksheets for Fall term. Winter and Spring term worksheets will be available later in the year.
